How do you get unused thread out of a sewing bobbin?
Q. I have left over thread in a sewing bobbin case and I want to take it out without unraveling the whole thing.

A. You mean, you have bobbins that you want to empty. You will have to unwind/unravel. Using anything sharp can damage the bobbin spool and this could cause damage to the thread the next time you use the bobbin. Attempting to wind more thread on a partially filled bobbin will not result in a smooth/tight bobbin and could cause uneven stitching. Drop the bobbin into a bag or empty coffee can with a small hole in the lid and start pulling on the thread until the spool is empty. Or, you could put them on the thread pin and sew with them until the thread is used up. Or, use for basting.
