How do I remove applications from the tool bar? Right click does not work, it opens the app.?
Q. When I upgraded to Explorer 8 the new tool bar appeared with preset applications like My Space and Facebook. I don't use these and want the icons removed from the tool bar, but right click and delete doesn't work it opens the application. How do I remove them?

A. Click the gear icon at the far right of the Yahoo! Toolbar. Select "Edit Your Apps" and follow the instructions on the page that displays. You should be signed in to Yahoo! when you do this. On some browsers, the Y! Toolbar will revert to a default set of buttons when you sign out of Yahoo!. It also depends on how the "Save my Yahoo! Toolbar layout and settings..." option is set. You can find this by clicking on the gear icon at the right side of the Y! Toolbar and selecting "Toolbar Preferences". -T

How long does it take for colleges to receive applications?
Q. I applied to six UC schools three weeks ago (a week before the deadline). I've only heard back from two of the colleges (LA and Santa Barbara) that they have received my application. How long does it usually take for colleges to receive applications. I'm no talking about acceptance letters, I just want to know IF they received my application... I'm still waiting to here back from Davis, Irvine, San Diego, and Berkeley. Has anyone heard back from these schools that they have received your application?

A. Not all UC campuses send out acknowledgment notices. The only acknowledgement notice you need to worry about is the one from the UC Undergraduate Application Processing Service confirming receipt of your application, which should arrive 4 to 5 weeks after you submitted the application. Source:
